The Mach 2b can withstand heavy production requirements loads due to the solid steel casting construction. Added to this, the system is able to provide premium accuracy because of the high-end ball screw and digital drive motion used in the construction.

An automatic lubrication system for the precision motion components ensures continuous peak performance.

Cutting head technologies available

There are a range of multiple head technologies available on the Mach 2b Waterjet cutter. These include:

  • Pure Waterjet – Hair-thin pure waterjet stream ideal for cutting soft materials.
  • Standard Abrasive Waterjet – Uses garnet abrasive to cut virtually any hard material.

Pump Technology

The machine tool control also controls the pump on the Mach2b system.

  • HyPlex Prime (4150 bar) – The highest pressure, most advanced direct drive pump available today, with pressures rated at 4,150 bar [60,000 psi].
  • Intensifier (4150 bar) – The longest lasting, lowest maintenance ultrahigh-pressure pump in the industry with continuous operating pressure at 4,150 bar [60,000 psi].
